Nimmo, Astros Sink Phillies Again in Game 2

Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Brandon Nimmo, the Houston Astros got a road win against the Philadelphia Phillies, 12-7, in Game 2 of the World Series today. Nimmo went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Astros, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0. Houston right fielder George Springer helped the Astros go up, 4-2, in the top of the third inning. With the game tied, Springer hit a 2-run double off Philadelphia pitcher Aaron Nola. Shelby Miller (5.0 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K) registered the win for the Astros and is now 1-1 this postseason. Aaron Nola was removed after 4.1 IP, gave up 6 runs (3 earned) and took the loss for the Phillies. Phillies bullpen again did not perform up to expectations allowing half of the runs conceded.
