Alfredo Flores was locked in. The right-hander led the Baltimore Orioles to a 3-2 win against the Los Angeles Angels at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Baltimore goes to 15-14.
The Orioles got a big at-bat from center fielder Joaquín Pérez. For the game, Pérez was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Baltimore a 3-1 lead.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Baltimore manager Jackson Melian.
