Chris Sale pitched a gem to lead Cincinnati to victory over the Colorado Rockies, 5-1. The Rockies fall to 12-18.

José Juárez had a big run-scoring double for the Reds in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cincinnati leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Steve Miller and swatted a double to right. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Reds ahead, 2-0.

"Chris throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Cincinnati manager Kevin Cash.
