McKenzie Mills, who finished 4th in the AL in wins with 16 last year, was locked in. The left-hander led the Los Angeles Angels to a 4-3 win against the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The winner was Mills. He threw 5.1 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Tristan Dailey. Baltimore falls to 15-16.

The Angels got a big at-bat from left fielder Mike Trout. For the game, Trout went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Los Angeles a 2-0 lead.
