Blue Jays Upend Rays, 6-3
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Tampa Bay Rays, 6-3, in American League action at Tropicana Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Vince McSweeney. The Blue Jays now have a record of 18-18 with the win over Tampa Bay.

Shortstop Darrell Hall made an impact for Toronto, when he swatted a 3-run home run off Chad Maynard in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Hall went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hall.
