Powered by Mauro Selem, the Brooklyn Cyclones downed the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 6-5. Selem went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Cyclones. Herman Keefe was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The loss makes Aberdeen 6-3.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from third baseman Sean Middleton. For the game, Middleton went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Brooklyn a 2-0 lead.

Brooklyn manager Tom Slater was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
