The Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels played an entertaining game for Angel Stadium of Anaheim patrons.

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Los Angeles Angels, 6-5, in National League action at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Los Angeles pitcher Florentin Eliade had a standout performance. Eliade, the winner, moves to 6-1. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk. Mike Morin was called on to finish, recording his 12th save.

Second Baseman Mike Garland made an impact for Los Angeles, when he swatted a run-scoring double off McKenzie Mills in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Garland was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Garland.

The Dodgers improved to a lofty 30-7.
