Hudson Valley Beaten, 2-0, by Brooklyn in 10
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Brooklyn Cyclones and the Hudson Valley Renegades, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Tomás Ganoso was the difference-maker. The Brooklyn right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. The win belonged to Ken Graham in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Felipe Melle took the loss for Hudson Valley. Leo Hendricks recorded the save, his 6th.
Brad Oglethorpe delivered a big hit for Brooklyn. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
Ganoso called the win "a team effort."
Brooklyn now has a record of 12-11 with the win.
