Quintana Helps Renegades Run Win Streak to 8
Orlando Quintana, who is tied for 9th in the NYP in home runs with 5, led Hudson Valley to a triumph over Tri-City. The final score was 8-4. The second baseman went 3 for 3, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 3 runs and added 1 RBI. R.J. Baldwin picked up the save for Hudson Valley, his 1st of the year. Hudson Valley has won 8 straight games.

Alex Johnson had a big 2-run home run for the Renegades in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Hudson Valley trailing 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Stu Hewer and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Renegades on top, 4-3.

"Swagger goes hand in hand with playing well," said Hudson Valley manager Tracy McGrady.
