Yankees Wrest Win from Doubledays, 7-5
The Staten Island Yankees cut down the Auburn Doubledays by the score of 7-5, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Jorge Cantú. Cantú was 3-6 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Yankees. The loss makes Auburn 15-16.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the 12th. With Staten Island trailing 5-4, Cantú jumped on a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Chandler McIntyre and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Yankees had a walk-off win.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Cantú said.
