With 4-2 Win, Spikes Improve to 24-11
The State College Spikes knocked off the Auburn Doubledays by the score of 4-2. Rocky Chandler provided some pop, going 3-for-4 with 1 home run. State College reliever José Rivera picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Myron McCain took the loss. With the win, the Spikes sit at 24-11.

With State College trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Chandler hit a slider from Myron McCain for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Spikes ahead, 2-1.

"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said State College skipper Jimmy Alvarez.
