Williamsport 7-5 Win Hard-Earned
The Williamsport Crosscutters topped the Hudson Valley Renegades, 7-5, in 12 innings. Williamsport second baseman Brad Howe, in particular, was impressive. He went 1 for 1 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Williamsport reliever Wilson Cuevas was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-1. R.J. Baldwin took the loss for Hudson Valley. Williamsport is now 15-20. Hudson Valley is 17-18.

Williamsport used a timely hit from Joe Norman to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Crosscutters ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Howe. "But we got it done."
