ValleyCats Capture 9-4 Win at Falcon Park
The Tri-City ValleyCats topped the Auburn Doubledays, 9-4, with center fielder Luis Villarreal playing a big role. Villarreal went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the ValleyCats in the win. Ángelo Zamora snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 4.1 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. The 4th-place Doubledays have dropped 4 straight games.

Villarreal had a key at-bat for Tri-City in the top of the first. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 18th double of the season and gave Tri-City an early 1-0 lead.
