Jorge Tovar made an impact in the 11-2 Connecticut win over Aberdeen. Tovar, who is tied for 2nd in the NYP with a .465 on-base percentage, went 3-4 with a home run and 2 triples, while scoring 3 and driving in 5. The Tigers lead the Stedler Division by 10 games.

With Connecticut leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Tovar hit a knuckle curve from Tynan Brown for a 2-run triple. It was his 6th triple of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 4-0.

"What a lackluster performance," lamented losing manager Lamarr Rogers.
