The Eugene Emeralds did just enough to secure a victory over the Spokane Tribe, 6-5, in 10 innings at PK Park. Nobody did more than first baseman Joe McDonald. The Emeralds now have a record of 14-12 with the win over Spokane.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, McDonald hit a fastball from Mike Bass for a solo home run. The Emeralds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It never gets old," said McDonald. "Winning, that is."
