The Everett AquaSox beat the Eugene Emeralds at Everett Memorial Stadium. The final score was 19-4, in favor of Everett. Juan Núñez led the way, going 3-for-5 for the home team. The win elevated the AquaSox to 25-18.

With Everett leading 15-4 in the bottom of the seventh, Núñez came up to bat against Eugene pitcher Virgil Curtis. Núñez hit a curveball to right for a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the AquaSox on top, 18-4.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Núñez.
