McDonald Goes on Rampage Against Tribe
Joe McDonald was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Avista Stadium, the Eugene left fielder blistered the Spokane Tribe for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 7-3 victory.

"McDonald was too tough to get out," Tribe skipper Jeff Herbert said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."

Joe McDonald hit a solo-shot off Trip Pauly in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
