There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget.

R.J. Lester of the Elizabethton Twins had one such moment at Joe O'Brien Field, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Elizabethton succumbed to defeat, 10-3, to the Princeton Rays.

"This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 22-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game."

R.J. Lester doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Kennedy in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

This season, Lester has banged out 57 hits in 130 at-bats for a .438 average with 7 home runs. He is getting on base at a .535 pace and his totals also include 30 RBIs and 28 runs scored.
