Spirited fans greeted the Greeneville Astros for their clash with the Pulaski Yankees.

Pulaski pitcher Greg Saunders had a large part in his team beating the Greeneville Astros, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. In 5 innings, Saunders surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 5. He allowed 1 run.

Pulaski used the timely hitting of Luis Ramos to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Yankees on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Ramos.

Pulaski raised its record to 22-21 with the win.
