Magic was in the air and on the mound at Bowen Field, as Dan Wallace held the Bluefield Blue Jays spellbound in his 3-0 shutout victory. The Princeton Rays pitcher went the distance, rang up 7 strikeouts, walked 2, and held the Blue Jays to 4 hits.
"He just had us in his thrall," Bluefield manager Jose Mejia said. "We couldn't put anything together against him."
