The skies opened up and the rain fell at Devault Memorial Stadium.

In a low-scoring affair between the Bristol Pirates and the Pulaski Yankees, pitcher Randy Dasher was the difference between victory and defeat. The Bristol right-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Pirates win. In 8 innings, Dasher surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs.
