Young Blasts Mets, Rays Take Game 2, 5-4
Princeton right fielder Ben Young was the difference-maker for the Rays in what turned into a shootout with the Kingsport Mets. Young earned accolades after going 2-for-3 in the 5-4 Rays win. With the victory, the Rays moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Princeton used a timely hit from Alvin Farmer to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rays ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Princeton manager Scooter Tucker called it "a good, solid win."

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at H.P. Hunnicutt Field in Princeton.
