Austin Brice pitched a gem to lead Milwaukee to victory over the Chicago Cubs, 7-1. Brice, now 1-0, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The National League Central Division-leading Brewers have a record of 31-15.

Billy Wood had a big 2-run triple for the Brewers in the top of the second inning.
