Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Seattle Mariners got the win.

In a low-scoring affair between the Seattle Mariners and the Vancouver Aurora, pitcher Artie Caines was the difference between victory and defeat. The Seattle right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Mariners win. Dominic Leone picked up the win in relief for Seattle, while Jameson Taillon took the loss.

Seattle got a game-changing hit from Jose Colina. The catcher blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"We're not winning games right now," said Vancouver manager John Patterson. "But I'm not going to denigrate the effort by the guys."

The win puts Seattle at 32-18 this season.
