The Philadelphia (VSL) Phillies beat the Tampa Bay (VSL) Rays, 9-2, at VSL Phillies Complex. Steve Orange was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The 21-year old catcher was a menace to Tampa Bay (VSL) all day. Caleb Quiñones sewed up the save, his 2nd. With the win, the Phillies hiked their record to 11-6.

With Philadelphia (VSL) leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Orange hit a fastball from Doug Ford for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Phillies ahead, 4-1.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Orange, "and then get after it again."
