Spirited fans greeted the Philadelphia (VSL) Phillies for their clash with the Detroit (VSL) Tigers.

Detroit (VSL) starter Leborio Crespo pitched well against the Philadelphia (VSL) Phillies at VSL Phillies Complex. The right-hander led his team to a win, 9-2. With the win, Detroit (VSL) upped its record to 36-12.

Detroit (VSL) used a clutch at-bat from Jorge Martinis to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Tigers ahead, 6-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Crespo. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
