Muñóz Silences Baltimore Bats
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles.

Detroit Tigers starter Luis Muñóz worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Baltimore Orioles, 5-0. The setback makes Baltimore 23-30.

Muñóz, a native of Palo Negro, Venezuela, was dealing all game. He kept Baltimore hitters off-balance, while giving the Tigers 7.1 quality innings. Muñóz threw 108 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 8.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Muñóz.
