Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals.
In a low-scoring contest between the Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals, Marcus Stroman was the X factor. The Cincinnati right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Stroman, now 4-6, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 1 run.
Orlando Arcia hit a 2-run double off Daniel Missaki in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Reds in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Arcia had 1 single, while going 2 for 3.
"You can never predict what'll happen," Arcia said. "That's why you play the game."
The Reds improved their record to 28-25 with the win over St. Louis.
