The New York Yankees picked up a win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, dropping the Los Angeles Angels, 7-4. Yordano Ventura, who led the AL in wins with 17 in 2015, was the difference-maker. The Yankees go to 22-33 with the win.

New York shortstop Oscar Price contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 38th hit of the season and put the Yankees ahead, 4-1.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Price.
