Los Angeles got a valiant performance from pitcher Josuke Mizuno, but it wasn't enough to beat the Colorado Rockies. Colorado won the game, 7-6. Mizuno threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Reliever Steve Rhind picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Mike Morin, who signed a 2-year contract worth $14,600,000 on 01/30/2026, took the loss. The Rockies go to 25-32, putting them 4th in the National League West Division.

Ron Faulkner provided a timely hit. The Colorado center fielder delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rockies on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Rockies manager Mark Minicozzi. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
