The Cleveland Guardians banked on Hunter Harvey and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Boston hitters in check. The final score was 3-1, Guardians. Cleveland is now 26-34, Boston 27-31.

Cleveland took a 3-1 lead on Liam Thompson's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Thompson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Boston pitcher Ed Goodwin visibly frustrated.
