Washington had no answer for 25-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Corral. The Arizona Diamondbacks starter stymied Nationals hitters, helping the Diamondbacks cruise to victory, 8-0. The Diamondbacks improved their record to 35-24 by beating Washington.

Jorge Corral was masterful. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.

"No weaving and bobbing. Jorge came right after them," said Arizona manager Jake Mauer.
