Giants Pin 5-3 Loss on Milwaukee
|
Starting pitcher Clarence Davis pitched well enough to help the San Francisco Giants beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-3. San Francisco reliever Luis Ortiz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Tristan Hill took the loss. The losing streak for Milwaukee has now reached 4 games.
Benny Brown provided a timely hit. The San Francisco catcher delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Giants on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Brown told the San Francisco Bulletin.
