Game 5 was big. So was Emmanuel Clase.

The Norfolk starter rose to the occasion at Coca-Cola Park, leading the Tides to a crucial 6-0 victory over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Clase threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball as the Tides won on the road to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Round 2.

In his 91-pitch effort, Clase allowed no runs on 5 hits over 7.1 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 6.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Lehigh Valley manager Mel Pritchard.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, September 26th , 2025 at Harbor Park in Norfolk.
