Brewers Heading to League Divisional Series
With a narrow 2-1 series win, the Milwaukee Brewers have eliminated the Philadelphia Phillies and are Wildcard Series winners.

"We tried not to look ahead to the League Divisional Series, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said center fielder Jorge Gutiérrez, who was named series MVP.

Milwaukee won the final game by a score of 9-7, wrapping it up at Miller Park.

Gutiérrez's big series saw him hit .583 with a .583 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Milwaukee Brewers will play against the Washington Nationals in the next round. Washington won their series against the Arizona Diamondbacks 2 games to 1. The League Divisional Series is scheduled to begin on October 3rd , 2025.
