League Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Anderson and Miami
The League Divisional Series got off to a quiet start, with the host Miami Marlins taking a low-scoring, 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Miami right-hander Ben Anderson was marvelous at LoanDepot Park. The Marlins now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

Anderson was in the zone all game. He frustrated Los Angeles hitters while giving the Marlins 6 innings of quality work. Anderson threw 89 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Anderson said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
