Marlins Hammered by Badger, Drop Game 4 to Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Miami Marlins will take the League Divisional Series to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Dodgers beat the Marlins, 5-3, at Dodger Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Los Angeles first baseman Danny Badger went 2 for 3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.

Todd McDonald, who finished 4th in the NL in doubles with 49 in 2023, helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the second inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the left fielder was 1-3. He drove in 2 runs.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Los Angeles manager Torey Lovullo.

Game 5 is scheduled for Friday at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
