Red Sox Move on to World Series
|
When the entire season comes down to one game, Rafael Devers said you find out what a team is really about.
As it turns out, the Boston Red Sox are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Los Angeles Angels 4-3 tonight at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in order to win the League Championship Series and book a place in the next round.
"It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Devers, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about."
Devers hit .484 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Boston Red Sox will play against the Milwaukee Brewers in the next round. Milwaukee won their series against the Miami Marlins 4 games to 2. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 22nd , 2025.
