League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Los Angeles Prevails
The sweet swing of Mike Trout has led his team through the League Championship Series.

The Los Angeles Angels star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Toronto Blue Jays to advance to the World Series.

The Angels won the final game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim by a score of 11-2 and the series 4-3.

"I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Trout. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs."

For the series, Trout hit .444 with a .464 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
