WL starter Jhonathan Diaz pitched effectively against the WL Royals at Brown Bears Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 9-1 win. WL, at 4-0, has sizzled in the early going.

The Reds picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
