Blue Jays Roll to 8-2 Win Over Braves
The WL Blue Jays thumped the WL Braves, 8-2, at Ballpark of Drummondville. Tomás Martínez was a big reason his team got the win. Martínez went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Luis Velásquez earned the save for WL, his 1st of the year. The Blue Jays bumped their record to 12-11 with this latest triumph.

Martínez came through with some timely hitting for WL. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the third and no one down, Martínez hit a 1-1 fastball for a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season made it 3-0, WL.

Said losing manager Darrin Garner: "Give the Blue Jays credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
