McGuire goes 4-for-4, Leads Astros to Win
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros get after it.
The Houston Astros defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-0, at Minute Maid Park. Leading the charge for Houston was first baseman Steve McGuire. He was 4-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Astros go to 26-40 with the win.
Early in the game, McGuire had a 2-run home run for Houston. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Astros on top, 2-0.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Doug Dascenzo.
