Milwaukee got a decent performance from pitcher Austin Brice, but it wasn't enough to beat the Houston Astros. Houston won the Minute Maid Park contest, 8-4. Brice threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The Astros sport a record of 27-40.

An inflection point occurred with two out in the bottom of the seventh. That's when Astros center fielder Claude Spears hit a curveball from Curt Wilkerson for a 2-run single. Just like that, Houston was up, 5-4.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Spears told a Houston Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
