Helmis Rodriguez pitched a gem to lead Chicago to victory over the Atlanta Hammers, 3-1. With the win, the White Sox sit at 37-31.

António García had a big 2-run double for the White Sox in the bottom of the third inning. With Chicago leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a screwball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Les Hampson and swatted a double to right. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the White Sox ahead, 3-0.

Chicago manager Morgan Ensberg called it "a good, solid win."
