The Houston Astros beat the Minnesota Twins, 6-2, at Minute Maid Park. The win was due in part to right fielder Lane Thomas, who was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The win puts Houston at 28-41.

With Houston leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Thomas hit a fastball from Adys Portillo for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Astros ahead, 3-0.

Thomas called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
