Guardians Get 3-0 Win Versus Detroit
In a tight tilt between the Cleveland Guardians and the Detroit Tigers, Hector Jimenez was the deciding factor. The Cleveland left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. The loss makes Detroit 43-29.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Guardians had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when catcher Rene Pinto hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Stu Ladnier and made the score 1-0, Guardians. Pinto was 2-2 with a double and a walk.

Jimenez said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
