Reds Earn Late Win
The Cincinnati Reds beat the New York Mets, 4-3, at Great American Ball Park. The win was due in part to designated hitter Blake Anderson, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times. Cincinnati reliever Jesús Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. António Seroseres took the loss. Dave Parsons earned save number 24 this season.

Dana Jones helped out the Cincinnati cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 1-3.
