Despite a fine performance by third baseman Ryan McMahon, the Seattle Mariners lost to the Baltimore Orioles, 6-4. McMahon went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Kyle Heckbert was the winner. Over 7.2 innings, he yielded 3 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts.
