Rangers Get Past Seattle for 3-2 Win
Seattle got a big-time effort from pitcher Donnie Ellis, but it wasn't enough to keep the Texas Rangers from winning the game, 3-2. Ellis threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Texas reliever Sonny Gray picked up the win, upping his record to 4-4. Eddie Muggleston was saddled with the loss. Seattle now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

Andy Roberts was the walk-off hero for Texas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rangers catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Roberts.
