Blue Jays Win with Late Rally

The Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees, 4-3, in 11 innings. Toronto pitcher and Lakeland, Florida, native Chris Sale led the way. Toronto pitcher Eric Morgan got the win. He's now 5-1. Jake Barrett was tagged with the loss. With the win, Toronto pushed its record to 49-38.
The Blue Jays got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Jonathan Fremlin. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Blue Jays.
"Chris was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Toronto manager José Soto.
